SPRING MEETING - HEBRON CHURCH
Join us on April 7, 2019, 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Hebron Church for our Spring Meeting. Our guest speaker for the afternoon will be Juliana Grassia from the Menokin Foundation. She will be telling us about the unique preservation of Menokin, the circa 1769 home of Francis Lightfoot Lee, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Light refreshments will follow. Genealogy Class 3
Join us at the Goochland Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library for the third class in our genealogy series. This class will focus on storing your family history on your computer and using Internet sites. Please register for the class by calling the Society at 804-556-3966 or email us goochlandhistory@comcast.net. The class will be on April 13, 2019, 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
BEGINNING GENEALOGY #2 - BEYOND THE BASICS
Are you ready to start tracing your roots, but really don’t know where to start? If so, these classes are for you! Join us for a free four-lecture series where you will learn how to get started on your family genealogy. The classes will be held at the Goochland Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library: 3075 River Road West, Goochland, Virginia 23063.
The March 9 meeting will be “Beyond the Basics” and will take place at the library from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.

2019 CALENDAR SOLD OUT
We are officially sold out of the 2019 calendar! Other than membership, this is one of our major sources of income for the society and we thank you all for your support! We are busy preparing for next years calendar so if you have any pictures that you would like to submit to our calendar committee for consideration, please send them in. If you haven’t gotten a copy of the 2019 calendar, there are still a few copies left at Courthouse Market & Grill, 2962 River Road West in Goochland.
