The Goochland County Historical Society was founded in 1968 and was established to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Goochland County, Virginia. To fulfill its mission, the society has collected manuscripts, artifacts, genealogical, and architectural information pertaining to Goochland County. These resources, some of them rare and unique, are made available to the public at the Society's Historical Center or the Goochland County Museum and Gift Shop.
The Goochland County Historical Society is a non-profit organization relying on the generosity of support to preserve and promote the history of our county.
